One of the performances during the festival was the Whirling Dervishes dance.  The Whirling Dervishes enact the teachings of Mevlana, spinning in circles as a form of transition toward enlightenment.  What that means is that they change their perspective--metaphorically, figuratively and obviously literally.

That's also what our sense of humor does for us.  It lets us see what's all around us, if we are willing to whirl around and look.

"Get Your SHINE Together!" and see what's around your next corner!
